Gardens
Many of Cornwall's gardens are quite different from those in the rest of the UK. The narrow peninsula, the Gulf Stream, plentiful rainfall and the relatively narrow temperature range - all of these combine to make the county unique.
History and topography have had an effect too - there are relatively few 'country park' type gardens and estates so common in the rest of the country. Instead Cornwall has a series of valley gardens along the south coast which are home to sub-tropical plants which struggle to survive elsewhere. Many of our tours are designed to give you the opportunity to explore and enjoy these unique gardens - across all the seasons. To see a wider selection of photos and information about individual gardens visit our Cornish Gardens A-Z page.
